Okay, so that light dusting was nothing. Here are some belated pics of the blizzard--the most snow I had ever seen.

Notice the greenhouse--I think the snow insulated it, as the beets, parsnips, leeks, and lettuce are all still hanging in there. I might even get a cauliflower. Soon, I can start organizing seeds and planning for spring.
The camelias came through fine, as did the viburnum.
It will be interesting to see how much longer the apple tree lives. I was told it may last a year, given its termite and wood borer infestations. At least 2 limbs are dead. We have to budget for a large tree to replace it. It is the bird feeding station and our only tree (other than a small Prunus). We will be really sad to see it go, but they can't live forever.
